I downloaded and installed the current SMH 7.3.1 successfully. SIM installation correctly detected that SMH was already installed and omitted it from the installation steps.
The SIM install then proceeded uneventfully. I am now trying to schedule a restart with the customer.
Will let you know how this went.
It would appear there is something flaky about the SMH installer that is packaged with SIM.
Shame that the logfiles were not a huge help in diagnosing.
