My organization will be implementing HPE Oneview in the near future, but we're currently using a combination of HPE SIM 7.5 and Proliant\Bladesystem Management packs for SCOM 2012 R2. Our current management pack versions are all 2.0.0.0. Our last management pack installations occurred when they were still part of the "Insight Control for Microsoft System Center" download.
I'm making preparations to upgrade SIM to version 7.6 (with the OneView install coming in mid-2018), and was going to update the SCOM management packs while I was at it. I'm having difficulty tracking down information about whether the latest SCOM management packs are compatible with SIM 7.6. Those latest SCOM management packs appear to now be part of the HPE OneView for Microsoft Systems Center package.
Is that management pack still feasible for customers who haven't yet implemented OneView? In other words, are the packs still functional if using SIM?
