YOu can't there is no test trap you can send. You can test the communication from SIM itself. Select the server(s).

Now select Configure > Manage Communications, select servers if needed and Run Now. The results are:

1. Can i read the system ?
2. Can i get events ?
3. Can i run tools
4. Can i read the firmware and drivers
