Re: Cannot install HP Version Control Agent 7.3.5 on Windows Server 2003 32-bits

Hi,

I cannot comment on 0x0 error code or the dll file.

Have you tried uninstalling VCA completely and then do a fresh install?

You may try the following:
Launch Windows Task Manager and kill the 'vcagent' service if it exists.
Uninstall HP VCA.
Reboot the server.
Install HP VCA.

You may also refer to these docs for help:

Issue: A system running HP Insight Management Agents on a named Windows 2003 account, the HP VCA upgrade does not finish successfully.
Description: The HP VCA is designed to be installed and running on the local system account on Windows for performing installation tasks.

Thank You!
I am a HP employee
